Here is the presentation I offered as part of the Aquinas Center of Theology at Emory University – Roman Catholic / Orthodox Initiative event at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation on August 27, 2026 entitled:
“That They All May Be One.” Christ’s Prayer We’ve Been Ignoring for 1,000 Years, and the Reuniting of the “East and West Lungs of the Original Church.”
This program explores John 17:20-23, the early history of Christ’s church through its divisions leading up to the joint pronouncements and work of the Popes, Patriarchs, and theologians to reunite Christ’s original church. We explored and discussed how we might achieve the Lord’s Prayer in John 17.
