WEEKLEY HOMES DEVELOPMENT

David Weekley Homes (Weekley) has notified the CWEPRS (Cresswind, Waters Edge, Pemmican Run and Neighboring Subdivisions) that they are temporarily withdrawing their application for re-zoning of the Societal Property that was scheduled to be heard at the November 14, 2023 Planning & Appeals Board (PAB) hearing.

Weekley has indicated they will resubmit a revised rezoning proposal perhaps as early as for the December 12, 2023 PAB hearing. However, we will not know for sure until closer to that date. Concerned CWEPRS Citizens are advised to continue to check this page for the latest updates and also to check the City of Gainesville PAB zoning page that can be found at: CITY OF GAINESVILLE CITY CLERK REZONING AGENDAS.

When Weekley submits a revised rezoning proposal, it will be critical for the CWEPRS Citizens to show up at the hearing wearing blue to let their voices be heard. Further updates regarding the Weekley Societal development will be posted here as they are available so please check back often.
