As my contribution to the 2024 Regent University Roundtable, I challenge everyone to examine your beliefs of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ and consider if your actions and words follow the “Oneness In Christ” (OIC) that our Lord invited us to accept. This page includes: 1. a video with a high-level introduction of the key OIC concepts, 2. the PowerPoint used in the video, and 3. a research paper brief exegetical analysis and preliminary roadmap outline for an OIC Christian Church in America.
These elements briefly explore how Christ’s “Εἰς μίαν, ἁγίαν, καθολικὴν καὶ ἀποστολικὴν Ἐκκλησίαν” (One holy catholic and apostolic church) devolved into over 200 American denominations and more than 45,000 global denominations. They also present a high-level Scriptual OIC analysis and a preliminary roadmap to return to the OIC our Lord offers us through a more unified Christian Church.
